Many moons ago, I was given the opportunity to write for the WCRS Radio Stage audio series.  WCRS is a service for the blind that runs in many hospitals across the country.  I was one of several regular writers and they produced scripts based on two series I created for their show.  I'm going to post some episodes in the next couple of weeks, during the gaps in the CBS Radio Mystery Theatre.  I hope you enjoy them.

The Old Curiosity Shop - "Through Rose Colored Glasses"
Starring Mel Hart
Originally Aired 2000

A nebish banker wishes the world saw things the way he saw them.  He discovers a pair of rose colored glasses on the shelves of the Old Curiosity Shop and his life changes for the worse.

This is the first in the series and not my best, in my opinion, but I figured I'd start from the beginning.  There were four episodes in this series produced.

I'm really enjoying uploading my CBS Radio Mystery Theatre episodes, but being the anal person that I am, I want to keep to the original airdate schedule of postings.  To fill up the gaps, I'm going to try to post some of my other OTR offerings that I have on file.  I'll start with an episode of Orson Welles's The Black Museum from 1952.  Enjoy.

"The Champagne Glass"
Hosted by Orson Welles
Series aired in 1952

A colonel’s wife dies from what seems to be stomach trouble shortly after returning from a sanitarium. Suspicion is aroused when one of his creditors receives a box of candies from him that an analysis reveals contains arsenic. - taken from the OTR Plot Summaries website.
